Our Multi-Purpose Kitchen Cleaner

Our Multi-Purpose Kitchen Cleaner

Clean without compromise

From petrochemicals to plasticisers, irritating fumes to chlorine and ammonia, mainstream multi-purpose sprays are often built on a cocktail of chemicals. Sure, they might strip away the grease from your benchtop or leave your fridge sparkling clean, but at what cost?

At Koala Eco, we wanted to change the way we clean; for us and for the environment. Our Multi-Purpose Kitchen Cleaner is a solvent-free degreaser that performs better than any chemical-laden mainstream equivalent. It leaves no harmful residue, will never damage your skin and most importantly, cleans like a dream.

How do we do it?

In a nutshell; Essential oils. Nature’s antibacterials, the 100 per cent pure essential oils used in our products are pressed from the leaves, barks and skin of Australian native plants and citrus fruits. For our Multi-Purpose kitchen spray, we took Lemon Myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) for its known cleaning power and paired it with Mandarin (Citrus reticulata) to soothe and naturally uplift your mood. We then added sugar-based biodegradable alcohol - because it’s non-caustic, eco-friendly and functions as well as synthetic versions - as well as plant-based surfactants. It measures up to strict environmental standards, is grey water and septic system safe and, of course, never tested on animals. In fact, our independent lab tests have shown it to kill 99.99% of germs. Not bad for a formulation that skips the irritants and allergens.

Driven by results

Our Multi-purpose kitchen spray was specifically formulated for the kitchen – including your fridge and microwave, but it can be used just about everywhere in the home. Think everything from door handles and desks to furniture. Simply mist the cleaner across rather than directly down for a targeted and economical clean. This spray is what we founded Koala Eco on, and it’s been one of our top sellers ever since. Pair it with our Natural Stainless Steel cleaner, Glass or Floor cleaners for a naturally sparkling kitchen.

What about the environment?

Although from the beginning we formulated all of our products using natural ingredients, we were still using plastic bottles. But no more, we’ve now switched our bottles over to recycled plastic that is also recyclable. We also offer one-litre refill bottles, meaning you’re using less plastic each time you clean.

But don’t just take our word for it…

Here’s what our customers have to say;

  • “We have been using this product for the last 2 months and we love it. It cleans really well, but the smell is very refreshing. I have bought the same product 3 times now in bulk orders”
  • “I have been using kitchen cleaner for about a month and I love it. It smells beautiful and leaves my bench tops and kitchen cupboards clean and streak free”
  • “Love, love this product. Not only does my kitchen smell amazing, I have also used this product when dusting my furniture (upon recommendation from Koala Eco support team) and the result was outstanding. The dust doesn't seem to settle on dark surfaces as much and the smell goes right through the house”
  • “I use it everywhere in the house: this is my favourite multipurpose cleaner. I use it everywhere in the house since it works well and leave a wonderful scent”
