5 of our Best Cleaning Tips

5 of our Best Cleaning Tips

TIP 1

The presence of mould and mildew can cause or exacerbate respiratory issues like asthma, sneezing, coughing, and postnasal drip. To prevent mould and mildew growth in your bathroom, ensure adequate air circulation by opening windows throughout the day and using the exhaust when showering. Reduce dampness by drying out towels after use and using a squeegee to wipe excess water off screens post-shower. Keep surfaces clean and mould-free with our Natural Bathroom Cleaner; our formula's minty, camphoraceous scent comes courtesy of pure eucalyptus essential oil. A natural antibacterial, antifungal, and antiseptic, it neutralises odours and eliminates mould and mildew from non-porous surfaces like plastic, glass, and stainless steel.

TIP 2

It’s important to deep clean your oven at least once a month. While minor spills should be wiped down as they happen, ovens will invariably bear the brunt of overflowing dough, burnt remnants, and overzealous sauces. Clean your oven by removing each metal rack and spritzing them with our Natural Lemon Myrtle and Mandarin Kitchen Cleaner. Leave for 5-10 minutes before taking them to task with a Bamboo or metal Scrubbing Brush. Spray the inside of the oven with the same formula and use a scrub brush to loosen the grime and then a soft damp bamboo cloth to wipe it down. Our Lemon Myrtle and Mandarin Kitchen cleaner effectively cuts through grease and grime, leaving surfaces clean and shiny. Rinse the racks before returning them to the oven. Another great option is our Lemon Myrtle and Mandarin Dish Soap. Mix with water, apply and scrub the oven and wracks with a scrub brush or cloth, and wipe down with a clean and damp bamboo cloth. Unlike caustic chemical cleaners, you can breathe in as you clean and let the freshness of lemon myrtle and the playful yet soothing mandarin essential oils revive your spirits as they clean and protect your home.

TIP 3

Cloudy wine glasses are liable to make even the most aesthetically pleasing tablescape look shabby. While some wine glasses can be washed in the dishwasher, handwashing is better for crystal-clear results. Wash your glasses with our Natural Lemon Myrtle and Mandarin Dish Soap using a sponge to restore them to sparkling clean status. Then, dry them and gently polish them with a soft bamboo cloth or dish towel until sparkling.

TIP 4

Stainless steel is a naturally durable material, making it a natural choice in many kitchens.. However, it’s prone to smudging and smearing, which can detract from its sleek aesthetic. Our Natural Stainless Cleaner is powered by antibacterial peppermint essential oil, specifically designed for use on stainless steel surfaces and appliances. Spritz the surface generously and use a bamboo or microfibre cloth to buff. Unlike abrasive cleaners, our Natural Stainless Steel Cleaner works without scraping or damaging the surface of your stainless steel appliances, ensuring they look new for years to come.

TIP 5

The ultimate handbag essential, our Natural Hand & Surface Sanitiser comes in two potent combinations; lemon-scented tea tree and rosalina & peppermint. Made with sugar-based biodegradable alcohol, and moisturising glycerin, it kills 99.9% of germs while releasing a beautifully aromatic scent. Ideal for use when coming into contact with high-touch surfaces, our Hand & Surface Sanitiser is perfect for sanitising door knobs, trolley handles, car steering wheels, computer keyboards, and of course, hands.
