Essential? Absolutely!

Essential? Absolutely!

An appreciation of the farms where we source our essential oils

We make a big deal about the essential oils we use in the Koala Eco range. That they are 100% pure, and sourced from farms that use sustainable and ethical methods is really important to us.

We look north to the traditional lands of the Bundjalung people for our oils. This is rich, fertile river Country where native botanicals flourish alongside more recently established species—relatively speaking—like citrus.

To walk among the sun-warmed trees and shrubs at dawn or dusk is a spiritual as well as elemental experience, so sublime are the perfumes of the blossoms and leaves. The same aromas are at the heart of our products. We like to think they release something of that magical ‘dawn and dusk’ experience, every time you use them.

NB, Citrus australasica or finger lime is the only native citrus in Australia, and it’s a delicious addition to sweet or savoury dishes!
