Essential Oils v Commonly Used Synthetic Fragrances

Consumers have recently been made aware of synthetic ingredients within the fragrance perfume industry. Research by the Environmental Working Group reveals that patent and trade secret laws allows the industry to hide these type of harmful ingredients in their formulations.

“Fragrance” can be created with any combination of petroleum and non-petroleum derived substances, including formaldehyde, benzend and tolune. These additives can have any number of detrimental effects on human health including reproductive and endocrine disruption, negative immune system effects and neurotoxic effects.

Many “green” cleaning products on the market are not free of synthetic fragrance, many combine a LARGE percentage of toxins with a small percentage of essential oil so they can mislead customers in thinking their products are free from, harmful synthetic fragrances!

KOALA ECO is FREE OF ANY SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCE CHEMICALS. We use only Australian essential oils for our beautiful scents and powerful disinfecting properties. Essential oils, vinegar, sugar based biodegradable alcohol and bicarbonate soda are great alternatives to caustic cleaning products and THEY REALLY WORK! (just ask your Grandmother).

Essential oils are the fragrant and EFFECTIVE antibacterial alternatives to thousands of mainstream chemical-laden products. Research of twenty one different essential oils conducted by Keller and Kober, found all to be highly effective in their ability to diminish or eliminate bacteria in the air and on surfaces.

KOALA ECO'S essential oils will sanitise your kitchen, fight mould in your bathrooms, and naturally degrease anything with antimicrobial properties (meaning, it actively fights against microorganisms, including bacterium which causes disease). Essential oils, especially when combined with other natural biodegradable grime fighting ingredients, are equally (or more) effective than toxic chemicals.

At KOALA ECO we want to make cleaning a pleasure and not a chore, just try our amazing products and you will be a believer!
