Celebrating an agreement just signed with a Chinese distributor, Koala Eco is all set to enter the Chinese domestic market.
This is a major coup for the Sydney-based, family-owned business, established only last year, which creates safe, affordable, plant-based biodegradable cleaning products from Australian essential oils and natural antiseptics.
‘We are just thrilled to be taking our products into China,’ said Koala Eco co-founder Jessica Bragdon. ‘From the start, our aim has been to create an incredible, quintessentially Australian product that would resonate not only in local communities but also across the world.’
‘China is a massive market, and we are a small company, but we truly believe that Chinese families will embrace our products, which are ethically sourced and use only the best ingredients from Australia’s extraordinary natural resources – and they never contain synthetic fragrances or toxic chemicals,’ co-founder Paul Davidson said.
‘To make the most of this wonderful opportunity, we’ll be setting up a Chinese language website, so that our potential customers in China can find out everything they need about our methods and our brand,’ he added.
The agreement with the Chinese distributor follows the introduction of Koala Eco products earlier this year into Hong Kong via City Super Outlets, Taiwan and Singapore
